This in-class assignment will account for 20% of your final grade. We'll be delivering our story pitches in classes 4 & 5
The Pitch. Modules 4-5. Weeks 4 and 5 is when everyone will do their story pitch. Week 4 is your first attempt and then in Week 5 you have the opportunity to re-pitch any significant revisions. Try to relax and have fun with this exercise. The pitch process should work like this:

- You pull up the image of your storyboards on the projector.
- You play your audio file twice through for the class.
- You have 2.5 minutes to pitch your idea, class will hold their questions.
- The class has 2.5 minutes for Q&A and to make suggestions.

Mumbling, whispering or unintelligible speaking
Very slow delivery no eye contact, low energy

Boards

Enough panels to describe action
Drawings clear
Camera cuts identified
Poor:
Boards insufficient to tell story
Drawings messy, faint or confusing
No sense of camera angle or character position
Feedback
Excellent:
Solid Comprehension, takes notes, asks questions
Encourages discussion, guides attention
2.5 min used effectively
Poor:
Confused about feedback, no record kept
Silent and unresponsive, speaks very little
Runs out of time, or long pauses and silence
Preparedness
